The amount of times Tottenham and Arsenal have ruined my accumulators has been unreal this season, admittedly I have been crap at them anyway, but once again the likes of Hull and Sunderland have frittered away my 2 quid!

Dear me. You often hear how City fans are a jovial, friendly and not at all bitter bunch. What went wrong? A jocular piece on the pitfalls of first-day success, and in comes a torrent of bile – some of which seems to suggest that regular sex would assuage the anger. Physician, heal thyself...

For the record, the writer isn't a Man United fan, because there are no Man United fans in the office. So, chips off shoulders chaps.

What we will apologise for is the Reyes error (we'll amend that) and the Macari pic - there was a mix-up with the picture cropping. Funnily enough, we couldn't find one of Ted scoring...

I agreee, comments are far too harsh. Robinho's debut goal was an excuse to take a look back on other players who have done it, some hit and some miss. He defo wont be as hellishly bad as Shevchenko tho. He looks good, but to be fair that was pretty obvious. Lazy passing was his only fault I would say.

sorry mate, reyes didnt score on his arsenal debut because he played against middlesbrough in the carling cup on debut if i remember rightly and was transferred in a January transfer window.

city played well on sat but i was really impressed with chelsea and as for robinho, im not sure anyone knows if he will be hit or miss. even blues will admit that one.

think the comments bout the article are harsh, he is just explaining that City fans shouldnt get carried away by a goal on debut as career's can still go two ways from a debut goal.

If you watched the game on Saturday, Robinho's exceptional talent was there for all to see. You either have an anti City bug in your belly, or know nowt about football if you are not able to see that he will be a huge success for City and in the EPL.

How were we brought down to earth?

Arabs dont own us yet, we had 12 hours in the transfer market with the millions and only the press seem to think we were gaurenteed a win.

Why dont you try talking about your own club instead of dreaming of disaster at city. Maybe we should market city losing. wed make a fortune. Who needs viagara when city losing is the only thing that gives you a hard on.
