Robinho revelation upsets Madrid minions

Thursday 05 June 2008 23:54

According to AS’s page 16 stunner Carmen Colino, Robinho is bang out of order.

From the safety of the Brazil camp, the condom-loving forward has admitted that he has offers from Manchester United and Chelsea. More to the point, he's admitted that he "wouldn't have a problem leaving" Madrid for England - and Carmen is not impressed.

"I don't like these little messages that Robinho is sending out from Brazil one bit," Carmen cried, getting her knickers in a real Chubby Checker of a twist at the sight of the player using the press to his advantage.

"Where’s the humble, happy and approachable player who first arrived at Real Madrid? He's showing a real lack of class," she continued as her moral high horse reared up neighing, almost throwing her to the ground with a loud crash.

"If he wants to go he should fly back to Madrid, have a meeting with [sporting director] Pedja Mijatovic and tell him face to face. If he wants to be on the market then fine, but this isn't the way. He shouldn't be trying to put pressure on Madrid to force a departure."

"Who does he think he is to pressure the club like this?"

Robinho's comments got Colino's knickers in a right twist

It’s a good question. Who does he think he is?

Perhaps he thinks he's the step-over king, a skilful showman, the man singled out as the best player in the world. Perhaps, Carmen, he thinks he's just the same as Cristiano Ronaldo.

You know, Cristiano Ronaldo. He's the player you and your paper are pleading with to rebel against Sir Alex Ferguson and Carlos Queiroz - "the worst coach in Madrid’s history" - ignore appeals to sit down and talk to his club and declare that he would love to leave; to pile the pressure on Manchester United, flick the Vs, walk out and sign for Madrid. Without talking to Ferguson.

And then, of course, to thank you for your role in making it all happen.

Mrs Pot, meet Mr Kettle.

This highlights the arrogance of the Spanish press/Real Madrid perfectly.

Whatever people say about Perez and the Galacticos, they were a club that neutral liked/loved, but Calderon's Madrid have become very dislikable during his tenure. Everything about them in fact.

ehm Mr. Phil Jones maybe you should learn before you talk with all due respect , the same Perez who handed Zidane a napkin at a festive dinner in Monte Carlo written on it " will you join Real Madrid ?" behind his club, the same florentino Perez who snatched Figo underneath Barca nose causing another round of hatred , the same Perez who held Santos hostage doing the exact same thing C Ronaldo is doing now moreover using AS front page to show Robinho wearing a Real Madrid shirt before the 2 clubs signed a deal to force Santos to sell

It will always be a Spanish thing (all rights to Tim of course ) Barca are using it heavily with Alves for 2 month now.. who also declared he want to move to Barca, photographed posing with a Barca shirt , Modric was photographed posing a Barca shirt when barca was interested in him back in the winter.. Aulas cried foul play on Real & Barca in the case of Diarra & Abidal...

its normal thing to expect from the Spanish press (right Tim ? ) plus what goes around comes around.. isn't what Real is doing is what SAF & Man U did with Hargreaves ? B Munich cried foul play while they did it with Werder Bremen star striker Klose and forced them to sell at a cut down price

it's common behavior now and there is no innocent party from the big clubs everyone is guilty

Ehm Mr. Beast, did I say that Perez didn't do the same things? I don't think so. I just that at least his Real Madrid were likable to the neutral.

IF Calderon's Madrid played absolutely amazing football, with likable players, I'd like them too. But they don't have the same players, and don't play particularly good football. Hence the 'whatever you say about Perez'. Please read before over reacting.

And when you say 'big clubs are all the same', I really don't think you can say that about Liverpool, Arsenal or Man Utd. Partly because Man Utd and Arsenal rather make their players great, rather than wait till they get great somewhere else then buy them.

Hargeaves? Man Utd and Bayern were trying to agree a fee for absolutely ages before it was announced. There wasn't exactly Man Utd doing all the forcing was it. Bayern were open to the sale, they just wanted their money. There's a distinct difference.

I don't know if my previous comment was posted so in short..

SAF & Hargreaves move is documented in the press( i think Balague was commenting on it today as well )so no they did go behind B Munich back who threatened to report them to UEFa ,along with his Ronaldesque move on Benzema this season while Benzema is still a lyon player and without Lyon approval

and please Wenger ? the Cesc + Fran Merida thief ? i don't think Barca was happy at all and Arsenal were ordered to pay Barca compensation ..

meanwhile Rafa is working on our own players in Castilla and C team
