Cristiano Ronaldo was bowled over by his player of the year award.

Even though slow-motion replays showed that it clearly never touched him.

Who cares, it is only a cup competition, until we have a European Super League where all teams play each other we will never get the true champions.

When you can answer these questions you will get an in-sight to the above comment.

How many games from the last 32 stage in open play ie 90 or 120 minutes do you have to win to win the champions league, the second question, what is the minimal number of teams do you actually play against to win the Champions League.

The answer to the first question is 'None' and the second is '5'.

If you view a web-site www.analogyoffootball.com and visit the site European Super League, there are 4 questions half-way down the page, greater explanation on the answers is given there.

Now can you see why it is only a cup competition!
