     Who would you say is the best player of all time?

    I would have to say Maradona, although not everone likes him.

    Yes. Another vote here for Diego. Fantastic skill, power and the ability to run a game on his own.All requirements of anyone being called the 'best player ever' in my opinion.

    Second place - for me would be Platini.

    Currently? Messi is a genius - but can't boss games - Yet. Aguero, despite the 442 propoganda - is not yet as good as Messi.

    Kaka -  hot/cold merchant. Ronaldo? Don't make me laugh. (Most math going reds would rather hold on to the Roon than the Ron).

    So who am I going for?  - John Terry.

    No, really,  I'd say Ronaldinho, on his day. But maybe his day has gone?

    Johan Cruyff is up there with the best.

    Bobby Charlton??? Yeah, he was really better than Maradona wasn't he. (Don't think)

     Anyway, what is the point of these threads if people dont bother to elaborate. Just throwing in a name without any reasoing is too easy. Lets have some thought eh? WHY is someone the best player ever?

     I am only 12 so I cant really say Maradona or Pele. In my lifetime I would have to say Figo , Zidane and Messi are the top players.

    Best Player I've ever seen in the flesh has been Ryan Giggs.

    Cristiano Ronaldo was bowled over by his Ballon D'or...

    Although slow-motion replays showed that it clearly never touched him.

    Maradonna is good but anything good he ever did is nullified by the fact that hes a cheat, a drug user, and *ssh*le

    CR7 has the same skill, twice the speed and 3 times the touch and after a few more years, the maturity
