i agree with the happy hammer there!

its amazing hearing west ham fans singing i'm forever blowing bubbles

i went to see them away at newcastle this season and newcastle didnt sing what so ever west ham fans were a lot louder

i think newcastle have poor support the only thing that was good was they clapped mark viduka off with a standing ovation after he scored 2 goals!

The old firm takes some beating, but i totally take the point of going to some god awful town on a freezing november wednesday night to see your league two side!! thats true fandom!!! Chelsea fans have to be the worst, the samford bridge atmosphere is the worst in the prem, apart from the Riverside which is alaways half full, poor smoggies!

well ill tell you one thing man u liverpool arsenal and chelsea fans who live 100 miles away from london or 'the north' are definetly not and the fans who support a poor saints team fighting relegation to leauge 1 for the first time since the 60s are defiently up there.

I'd have to say the Rochdale fans. They've been in the same league for over 30 years and they still have loyal supporters turning up to cold winter mid-week games,

    Amazing!

I think the Turks have to be up there. They go mad on football, and are true die hard fans. The Italians get pretty passionate about their sides also.

I'm not the type of person who believes that all fans who support big clubs are fake however. Yes a big chunk of the top 4 in England only support their teams because the are successful. But not all. You get the same die hard fans at a Champions League game at Old Trafford on a Wednesday as you do on a cold Friday night down at Glanford Park, Scunthorpe.

    Thnx for the credits;)

beeing a Feyenoord-Fan myself i have to agree without bragging!!

Quite a fierce reputation and we normaly bring a lot of away fans(aswell as home)

Anyway in General i prefer the english way of suporting above the eastern europe style

with whole shows before the game:(

I think sunderland deserves credits since they didnt play Premier leaugue 4 a couple off years but still manage to bring a sold out stadium

but also newcastkle, man city, the hammers, celtic, rangers and hearts deserve to be named

     outside the uk:atletico madrid,dortmund,standard liege,as roma &Fenerbache i guess

    outside europe:most argentinian club fans

Feyenoord is not a matter of life or death,it is much more than that!

The Argentinians, club and country are the best. Maybe a bit fierce but that's what we football lovers like.

Cant believe Spurs fans are being mentioned in a thread for "Best Fans in the World" absolutely shocking!

Admitedly wouldnt say world but in this country you cant overlook Southend! At 4-0 down away at Doncaster in the Play Off Semi they were dancing, conga'ring all over the shop. Anyone would have thought they were winning 4-0. That night and most games to be fair they did not stop for the whole 90 minutes and were a credit to the club. It was just a shame they players didnt live up to it.

For World I'd have to say the English support as whole - yes we get the odd idiot minority which UEFA,FIFA and the Media in general love to make a meal off but for following their country in huge numbers and making a noise you dont get any better.

I think that the best fans in the world are Brazil fans. They love their football, and even when they are losing the like to shaken their hips. They do encourage attractive football, which you've go to admit is definetely the best to watch, even if they aren't winning.

I have every respect for any fan of a smaller club who goes to every home game and some away games. My mate is a Swindon Town fan and is very passionate about his club. He's got his season ticket and try's to go to any local away games due to our work situation plus his young family restricting him I respect him for that.

However I think the best fans in Europe have to be the Celtic Fans. We get 60,000 every home game. Take fantastic travelling supports to other games in Scotland. We usually outnumber the travelling supports of the travelling European teams when we go abroad and cause no trouble when we're there. We got the fair play award from UEFA for the conduct of our fans when we went to Seville for the UEFA Cup final. As if that wasn't enough FIFA followed that up by giving us their fair play award. This is the first time ever a set of fans has recieved this award from these organisations (not including the one set out for the International tournaments). Celtic Park was also voted the most atmospheric stadium in the UK. It was also at Celtic Park where the noise from the fans actually blew Radio 5 Live off the air for a short period of time for the only time in their history, after Jorg Cadette scored on his debut. Lastly to back up my point I'd say the fact most teams in England be they Premeirship to Lower League teams always ask to play Celtic in Friendlies/Testimonials cos they know we'll bring a fantastic travelling support. I mean the fact we played Southampton on Fri there and then the next day we played Fulham shows how in demand we are. We had almost 5,000 down at St Marys and 10,000 the next day at Craven cottage. Who else could do that when their team is miles away from home...

    p.s plus we're noisy...lol
