 Can Bojan Krkic become one of the worlds true greats??Barca believe so and so do i.

Too early to say but he looks good, I like him

Early days yet, but signs are good for him, he's certainly learning from the best at Barca, training with Etoo, Ronaldinho, Messi and Henry.  Even when they've all been fit, he's still been getting first-team minutes, despite competing with Giovanni as well, so he must be impressing people at Barca.

There's talk of Spain maybe taking him to the Euros in the summer as well.

Bojan was pretty good in the U-17 in North Korea, but he's not the greatest team player, yet. Granted, he's learned oodles from his first team action this season with Barca. He's certainly got potential to be great, possibly as important to Spain as Raul (which is the only thing I care about because I'm a Real Madrid and Spanish National fan), but it's too early to say for sure. He'll need to stay healthy, work hard, and earn more regular play. But he's definitely got talent.

He can go right to the top if he follows the example of players like Eto'o and Henry and can avoid the party lifestyle that Ronaldinho has.

In response to Red Devil - Its a good point you have raised about party life style and Barca players have always had a habit of it. Stoichkov, Romario, Maradona, Rivaldo, Cryuff and now as you say Ronaldinho. Maybe its something in the water (or nose in some cases!).

 After neting against Schalke he now has 10 goals which now backs up my piont and everyone elses seeingas he's only 17.

Not really. Aragonés is a bit of a loon. I personally think that he included Bojan on the list to make sure that he wouldn't feel unappreciated and defect to the Serbian team. Bojan's got pace and the courage to take on defenders, but his finishing is not consistent. I'm thinking about his performance against Man Utd. at Old Trafford. Bojan looked out of ideas in front of goal. He tries to do too much on his own sometimes. He reminds me of Robben in the way that both show spots of fabulous ability but too often make runs that amount to nothing. He needs to mature before he's ready for the Euro. I'd take Raúl over Bojan, but I'd also take a fully fit Tamudo and Guiza over him, too. I'm hoping that Bojan is a backup for this Euro, and that's it. 

Yes I agree, i wasn't saying he is better than Raul. But he gets picked ahead of him so this must mean something. I also agree that he was terrible against United. He looked inexperienced and out of ideas. And Aragones is a loony. But he may prove vital against smaller teams in Spain when Barca are struggling for a goal. And surely you'd want Villa in your team!!!

I know he's still a kid but he looks a bit too light to me.  I think he could have a Michael Owen style explosive late teens and early twenties then wear and tear starts to catch up.  The physicality of forward play seems to require a serious toughness for a long lasting career.

 Bojan is not as good as everyone says and he wont become the next Messi/Ronaldo/Ronaldinho/Henry.He will become a brill replica of Mark Corcoran ( ex Saints joining Hamilton ) He is tricky but is always tackled , cant cross a ball , scores a handful of goals and really over - rated. Hibs , Dundee United and Rangers are so out his league. Bojan will be sold at 23
