I'd have to see him more as I'm only going by a couple of games but if he carries on the way he has been then he certainly has potential.

He looks it but he is 27 so dont know where he has been hiding but then Drogba became the

player he is about the same age, i would have him at West Ham though.

What I've seen he's a good player but players from the East of Europe don't tend to do well in general. e.g. Rebrov and Shevchenko

Bit of a trend yes but Andrei Kanchelskis was good in England.

unfortunately, don't think he would be a hit in the Premier League.

other leagues in Europe, I think he would, yeah.

but I definitely need to see more of him.

we haven't exactly seen him against the World's best defences yet either.

I have to agree with Tom on this one, even the relatively average Spanish defence kept Arshavin quiet tonight, although as I write this there is still half an hour to go.

Arshavin ghosted through this game tonight, failed to impose himself on the match whatsoever.

Sure he shined against Sweden and the Netherlands but was absolutely invisible against Spain.  I was very surprised to hear Barcelona's enthusiasm for his signature.

 Speaking of Barca, I'm also surprised (though less so) to hear about the Adebayor bid, especially since it's exceeding 30 million euros.

One of the few exceptions to the rule, he was quality

i feel he definitly has the potential to be a strong force in the premier league but not as a support player i dont think he could put a team on his shoulders on carry them to glory thats why he should go to a top four team and aston villa or something, no offence villa fans
