    Yes.

    everything in the NFL is pooled, not just the television rights. There's also a salary cap for good measure. But perhaps the most important socialist measure is the draft, where the team that finishes bottom gets the first pick of the best of that year's college players.

    All well and good, but there isn't a college system in football around Europe, so having a draft would be pointless as there's no central pool of young players to choose from - just each clubs individual academies.

    No, there is no way the big clubs will 'pool' anything with smaller clubs anyway, simply because it means less money, ergo less power, for the bigger clubs, so they'd just up sticks and sod off to the premier league II.

    Cristiano Ronaldo was bowled over by his player of the year award.

    Even though slow-motion replays showed that it clearly never touched him.
