Subject: Feyenoord Fans a few questions.

What the hell happened to Leonardo? where is he? did you rate him? was he the new Denilson he sure looks like him.

    Was Roy Mackaay the answer?

Was you happy to see Kuyt leave?

Michael Mols and Jon Dahl Tomasson?

And is Nicky Hofs, Manteiga, Serginho Greene the future of Feyenoord?

Believe nothing, no matter where you read it, or who said it, no matter if I have said it, unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense

I thought Wijnaldum would be the future of Feyenoord.

Cristiano Ronaldo was bowled over by his player of the year award.

Even though slow-motion replays showed that it clearly never touched him.

The latest news is that he is going to NEC Nijmegen since aj$x doest want him anymore,,,,

    in short:

Quite big talent from Brazil did the juniors from Feyenoord and ended in the first

played games reasonable and looked to have more potential..

got a heavy injury on his kneecap and was overwelmd by the amount off cards, phones etc

from fans to wish him the best !shortly after that left us for the archrival since he found he didn;t play enough and was/is kind a spoiled caracter

(maybe partly a mistake from the club bu spoiling him) not popular guy in rotterdam

    illumin7:
    Was Roy Mackaay the answer?

nope....not for leonardo and not for Feyenoord...

decent player who works had with a striker nose(also considering his age not the level of Bayern or Depor anymore)

    illumin7:

Was you happy to see Kuyt leave?

    Big NO..stands 4 everything the clubs stands for,people's guy,strenght,power,working,mentality

these kind of players our known standing symbol 4 a club like Feyenoord..(more recent examples 4 you are De Wolf(wolverhampton),Paul Bosvelt(Man City)and Giovanni van Bronkhorst(Rangers/Arsenal)

To answer it fully!!!II think this very good class off working made by some fans about him says it all!!worth seeing..

    illumin7:
Michael Mols and Jon Dahl Tomasson?

nope ,probably if the club doesn't sign a new player anymore

    Tomasson and more likely

Tim Vincken(twice european champ with u21 and talent but injured often)

Kermit Erasmus(18 year old talent/player from south africa)

    Wijnaldum(youth international)

    Makaay(you know him)

Slory(2nd season came from Excelsior Rotterdam)

    Mols will be stand in

    illumin7:

And is Nicky Hofs, Manteiga, Serginho Greene the future of Feyenoord?

    Nope

Hofs(hard working player doesn't has to leave from most fans

Greene(this level is to high for him)

Manteiga(new brazilian young talent from Brazil.first season so we'll have to see,,,

Feyenoord is not a matter of life or death,it is much more than that!

    Thanks for the reply wolfman.

I thought Leonardo would be huge, I guess wrapping him in cotton wool was a bad idea, hope he does well though but yeah Brazillian forwards and their ego's its allways the talented ones huh?

I used to love that feyenoord team Paul Bosvelt was a real titan what about Patrick Paauwe rock solid, I was shocked when Julio Cruz ended up at Internazionale was the rest of Rotterdam as shocked as I was, then there was Tomasson he never made it england but did he prove people wrong.... well sometime, I cant believe Mols is still playing whats his secret?

Good to see Theo Lucius is still around too, but my God was'nt Castelen cagey.

And yeah Tim Vincken looks class when he's not injured one of the few players I've been aware of for sometime now, changes direction so quickly Im surprised he does'nt get whiplash every game

    Thanks again.

Oh and where the hell did Kevin Hofland come from he's been off the radar for a few years now, was'nt he the next big thing sometime ago? If remember was'nt he a target for Manchester United?

more than welcome you are enjoyed the clipp about Dirkie?!

    illumin7:

He had/has the potential but lets his ego get in the way, like i said in previous topics

no matter how big your potential is ,your qualties or market interest

nobody is bigger as the club so there is the hole off the door bye bye....

    illumin7:

I used to love that feyenoord team Paul Bosvelt was a real titan what about Patrick Paauwe rock solid, I was shocked when Julio Cruz ended up at Internazionale was the rest of Rotterdam as shocked as I was, then there was Tomasson he never made it england but did he prove people wrong.... well sometime, I cant believe Mols is still playing whats his secret?

Lovely balanced team with a top class centre as (back to front Zoetebier,Van Wonderen,Pauwe,Bosvelt,Hooydonk)

Yeah shame about Cruz but the problem in Holland will remain we simply cant afford the salaries

they pay in Premier leaugue,Serie A,Primera Division and the Bundesliga!the real top players in Holland from teh trad top 3 make around 1 and 1,5 million euros...

and Bosvelt  yeah like ai told ya in the previous post the kind off player that we want to see

just like kuyt still visits Feyenoord like Dirk Kuijt when he has a day off

if you liked the Kuijt movie i've got one more for ya from the same makers about Bosvelt(again!worth seeing)

and please be sure to have your pc stereo on just like the kuijt movie)

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n7s-HAKnEpU

ond and Mols has no secret i guess..he is one off the older generation with no spoiled mentality and although

did the youth at our archrivals he;s not a typical example off them with a big mouth and god like behaviour..

    illumin7:

Good to see Theo Lucius is still around too, but my God was'nt Castelen cagey.

Well most off us here woold like to see Theo go he sometimes looks impressed by the atmosphere in the stadium and than loses his control

and we got 4 million euro's for castelen from Hamburger SV ..good price for an average player who was boght for hardly a milion

    illumin7:

Oh and where the hell did Kevin Hofland come from he's been off the radar for a few years now, was'nt he the next big thing sometime ago? If remember was'nt he a target for Manchester United?

Well  to be honest even at his hight at psv eindhoven and oranje thought this guy was overrated

decent defender who needs a top defender besides him and quite often injured, went to wolfsburg in germany for couple off years

and since Feyenoord isn't the richest club it looked like an reasonble deal but again constantly injured

Feyenoord is not a matter of life or death,it is much more than that!

yes and  i do hope that it(the talent) gets out off him....

the nice thing is that he looks to have a good combination off fysicks and tecnical skills

looks quite easy as a person to,not a guy that will cry immediatly when he doesn't play

Think looking at the team and the transfermarket he will get his chances this season !

Dirk Kuyt is such a legend, however, he still needs to reach his full form at LFC, but I suppose if you're a striker playing on the wing, it would be diificult. Oh, and Wolfman I see you took Bill Shankly's quote and changed it a bit :) I still prefer it as "Football is not a matter of life and death, its much more than that."

Kuyt the hardest working player in the Prem.

    your right,

saw it for the first time in london at the footballmuseum ten years ago (nearby the thames, doesn;t excist anymore)

thought the sentense  said it all...coverd it all up 4 me!!

and well my team instead of Football is the same 4 me....(legendary great club Liverpool is by the way,...again love almost all prem leaugue teams in their way, advantage looking as a foreigner to it)

Feyenoord goes above every game(football- ofcourse) in what kind of shape(cl,uefacup, national team etc)

what doesnt mean i cant enjoy other games...

again hope you guys watched the clips with pc stereo on think the guys that made it did such a lovely job

it represents the feeling from us as fans(towards some club legends) more as the usual official club season rewind saying/feeling things with music and pics!!!!magnificent!

    o and about tevez.

..i think they probably do equal work on the pitch but Tevez has the more "sneaky"

forward thinking like a chess player, when i see Kuijt it is more from the heart and more explosive which i as a fan prefer

but in the end i love both players on the pitch...
