Im quite happy, LFC have drawn my 2nd team Atletico - that will be a great game - and we have decent opposition. Im looking forward to the Madrid - Juve - Zenit group which should be fantastic. Any thoughts on the draw and the table - toppers?

All the English teams have relatively easy draws.  Expect British dominance to continue.

Cristiano Ronaldo was bowled over by his player of the year award.

Even though slow-motion replays showed that it clearly never touched him.

I wouldnt exactly call PSV, Marseille and Atletico easy. Especially the latter, they are world class.

Marseille will be easy pickings, 6 points picked up there, PSV are good but a team of Liverpool's quality should expect at least 4 points off them.  And I agree that Atletico are a very good side but i would still expect a victory at anfield and probably a well fought draw at the Vicente Calderon, surely 14 points is enough to see you through?

Atletico "world class"? Come on. They have a very good side, but they're not world class. They're probably slightly unproven, because they've bought a whole host of new players, certainly in defence, so how they're going to play together is anyone's guess.

PSV aren't particularly good, should be 4 points (at least, should be looking at 6 as they're the weakest side). Marseille should be a minimum of 4 points. That leaves 2 points needed, as 10 is normally a guarantee of progression. 2 draws against Atletico.

Ok, so my opinion is slightly biased because Im an Atleti fan. And I am in love with Kun Aguero who will cause us the most problems and hopefully be European forward of the season after Torres. They keep getting stronger though, and Kun happens to be a match-winner. Im looking forward to that game the most. But the Utd / Villareal game should be interesting, and the Zenit/Madrid/Juve group too. I expect Zenit's sheer hunger for this competition will see them through.
