    Subject: Del Piero hints a move to Premiership

    He hinted this while being interviewed by sport weekly. But the 33 year old said he would only move after his contract ends in 2010. No offense to any Del Piero fans but;

    1. At 35, most of the big clubs will not want to sign him as they may not get many seasons out of him

    2. The smaller clubs will probably not be able to afford his wage

    But does anyone think he could move to the Premier League and if so which team do you think he would probably sign for?

    What Hartlepool does today,the World did about 3 weeks ago.

    He'd only be going for one last pay-day. So it would be someone outside the big-4 who's throwing money around to try and attract big name players. I would say Man City, but if they're plan materialises they will already have a good enough squad by then.

    Obvious answer at the moment would be Hull, but by then Phil Brown will have moved on to another stage of his masterplan and be buying promising youngsters...
