Ancelotti hoping to avoid Milan

ROME - Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti wants to avoid former club AC Milan in the last 16 of the Champions League.
"Chelsea-Milan would be a very particular situation for both of us. The emotional charge would be special," Ancelotti, who won two Champions League titles as Milan coach, told Friday's La Gazzetta dello Sport.
"I confess that I'd prefer to avoid meeting (Milan coach) Leonardo face-to-face at Stamford Bridge in February. But if it happens, it won't be a problem. Football puts these situations in front of you."
Ancelotti, who will be without the services of Didier Drogba, Salomon Kalou, John Obi Mikel and Michael Essien due to the African Nations Cup early next year, said Chelsea were unlikely to sign reinforcements to bolster the squad.
"I'm satisfied with the squad I have. In January Drogba, Mikel, Kalou and Essien will be at the African Cup and they will miss four league matches," he said.
"But I have very promising lads, such as Fabio Borini and Gael Kakuta."
