Torres reveals Bayern Munich ambition

And after revealing that he would rather win the European Cup ahead of the Premier League this season, the 25-year-old has admitted he has ambitions of adding both the Italian and German top-flights to his already sparkling CV, saying a move to Bayern Munich would be an attractive propersition.

“I would like to play in Italy, try Serie A football. I want to experience spells in all three big European leagues - the Spanish one, the English one and the Italian one," he said.

“The German one is also a good league. To me Bayern Munich is a very attractive club, even if moving there would be in the future.”

And the Spanish international, who arrived from Atletico for £20 million last summer - scoring 24 goals in his debut season in the Premier League - refused to rule out a future return to the rojiblancos, where he made his name netting 82 league goals in 214 appearances.

“Moves are part of football and even if I do not want to do it for the sake of it, I would like to return to Spain, for Atletico of course,” he said.
