The former Bolton and Chelsea striker has made 72 league appearances for the Catalans, scoring 10 times, since arriving in 2006 and was an unused substitute in the club's Champions League final success against Manchester United in May.
But despite being under contract until 2010, Gudjohnsen is now expected to depart for around €5million, a fee that is believed to have interested several English sides, with Blackburn Rovers, West Ham and Tottenham Hotspur all linked with the forward in the past.
The Icelandic international, who made many of his 182 league outings for Chelsea from 2000-06 alongside current West Ham boss Gianfranco Zola, has admitted he would be interested in a reunion with the diminutive Italian at Upton Park.
However, his father, Arnor, has now revealed that the Hammers have yet to make an approach for his son, but named three other English sides who are keen on recruiting him during the close-season.
"I think that Eidur will leave Barcelona, but I am not sure where he will end up playing next," he said, as reported by Sport.
"There are many possibilities open to him and apart from Aston Villa, Fulham and Everton, there are also clubs in other European countries that want him."
