Inler no longer wanted by Arsenal

The Swiss international, who has made 43 league appearances for the Serie A side since arriving from FC Zurich in 2007, has long been tipped to join the Gunners, with manager Arsene Wenger believed to be a keen admirer of the 25-year-old.

However, the Frenchman has now shelved plans to make the holding midfielder his latest summer signing, according to the player's representitive Dino Lamberti, with Fiorentina enforcer Felipe Melo reportedly higher up on Wenger's wish-list.
