Moyes: Lescott going no where

The 26-year-old, who arrived from Wolverhampton Wanderers in 2006, has made more than 100 Premier League appearances for the Toffees, scoring 14 goals.

And the stopper's rock-solid form has helped the club qualify for Europe on three occasions during his tenure at Goodison Park, as well as reaching last season's FA Cup final.

As a result, Lescott has been linked with a big-money move to Manchester City, as Mark Hughes continues to build an expensively-assembled squad that now includes Carlos Tevez, Roque Santa Cruz, Gareth Barry, Robinho and, potentially, Emmanuel Adebayor.

However, Moyes - speaking to shareholders at a fans' forum - is adament that no one at Everton, including Lescott who has won six caps for England, is for sale.

"I have already said there will be no players sold at Everton and I do not feel I need to say any more," he said.

"The board have never sold a player from me, it will only be at my discretion.

"I said it at the end of the season and I do not need to say any more."
