Young happy to stay in second city

The 24-year-old has shot to stardom since helping Watford achieve promotion to the Premier League in 2006, with an £8 million move to Villa Park following in January 2007, where the livewire winger has since made 86 top-flight appearances and won five caps for his country.

Young's scintillating form, which helped the Villans threaten to gatecrash the 'Big Four' last season, has inevitably led to speculation tipping the youngster to move on to bigger and better things, with Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur all linked with the speedster, who netted nine goals in 2008/09.
