The Italian, who arrived from AC Milan earlier this summer, has brought in Middlesbrough goalkeeper Ross Turnbull, Manchester City youngster Daniel Sturridge and CSKA Moscow wide-man Yuri Zhirkov.
However, they will not be joined by anyone else before January, after Ancelotti cooled talk of Milan midfielder Andrea Pirlo, French international Franck Ribery or Valencia striker David Villa signing on the dotted line at Stamford Bridge.
"Now we stay with the players I've got. I don't want to take other players because the squad is very competitive," he said.
"We don't need other players and I don't expect to make any more signings before the window shuts."
And the 50-year-old also denied reports that Portuguese pair Deco and Ricardo Carvalho were set to re-join former coach Jose Mourinho at Inter Milan, a day after the ex-Chelsea icon had criticised the Blues for pricing them out of a move to Italy.
"We never talked about selling Carvalho or Deco," he said.
"They are important players for Chelsea. Carvalho is a very intelligent defender and Deco has a great quality. This team needs the quality of Deco. They will stay at Chelsea for this season.
"We don't have the idea to sell the players. If one player is not happy to stay with us, he has to say it to us. But at the moment nobody has asked to go."
