Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas has revealed that Czech midfielder Tomas Rosicky is his best friend at the club, adding that the playmaker's choice of restaurant in the capital is not a favourite of the Spaniard.

"Tomas Rosicky is my best friend, but I get on well with everyone at Arsenal," he said.

"Rosicky is one I spend most of my time with and outside of football he is the person I do most things with.

"He takes me to his Czech restaurant, it’s not very good. We play Playstation, watch DVDs, or whatever."

And the 22-year-old has revealed his delight at seeing the midfielder finally return to action after 20 months sitting on the sidelines, describing him as a new signing for Arsene Wenger.

“I am really happy for him, he has been through a lot. I told him to be strong and to keep believing in himself and that he could play football again,” said Fabregas.

“It’s great to see him play. He has played a few games now and I think he has done very well.

“He gives you great confidence because he has the class and the touch. It’s great to have him in the team. It’s like a new signing for us.”
