Cesc: Winning league ultimate goal

Arsenal skipper Cesc Fabregas says winning the Premier League would be 'one of the best days of his life'.
The 22-year-old has only lifted the 2005 FA Cup in six seasons with the Gunners, and after four trophyless campaigns he has set his sights on Manchester United’s title.
“The Premier League is a tournament I really want to win. It’s so special. To be the champions of England would be one of the best days of my life,” said the Spanish international.
And the Catalan is confident Arsene Wenger’s young Gunners can finally fulfil their potential.
“We’re working really hard to win a trophy. We believe we can do it. I don’t want to say 'This year we will win' because we have to focus game by game,” said Fabregas.
“If you don’t believe you can do it there’s no point playing football. You play football to win. That’s what I and the club want to do.
“If we continue to play like a team like we are now I am sure we will have a chance. We have to play for each other.
“The young players are one year older. They are much better. They are training with great players and playing well against tough teams.”
Arsenal made an impressive start to the campaign, scoring 10 goals in their opening two outings against Everton and Portsmouth, only for two damaging defeats in Manchester, to both City and United, to raise doubts over the North London outfit's title credentials.
Wins over Wigan, Fulham and Portsmouth have since got Wenger’s men back on track.
But Fabregas insists it’s too early in the season to determine the destination of the Premier League trophy, especially with several new pretenders to the throne.
“It’s really difficult to say after seven games. You can see teams like Manchester City and Tottenham are doing very well. They want to get into the Champions League and the UEFA Cup,” he said.
“I am not surprised by City because they have some very good players. It’s up to them to show they can keep going until the end of the season. They have the quality to do it. They will be there.
“Chelsea are strong, Manchester United are good as always even without Ronaldo and Tevez and Liverpool will be up there as well. It’s going to be difficult.”
