Arshavin: Barcelona more beautiful

Arsenal forward Andriy Arshavin believes the Gunners are two
top signings short of being able to match the free-flowing style of
European champions Barcelona.
Arsene Wenger's side have made a scintillating start to 2009/10,
netting 40 goals in their opening 14 games of the campaign, with
Russian playmaker Arshavin bagging his fifth of the season in the 3-1
win over Birmingham City last weekend.
The diminutive 28-year-old made no secret of his desire to sign for the
Catalan giants from Zenit St Petersburg following his impressive
performances at Euro 2008.
Despite added interest from Tottenham Hotspur, a move failed to
materialise for a further six months, with Arsenal eventually luring
him to North London in a £15 million deal.
Although they are considered one of the most attractive sides in
Europe, Arsenal have failed to lift a trophy since the 2005 FA Cup at
the Millennium Stadium, Cardiff.
However, Arshavin is confident that with the acquisition of two more
quality players the Emirates Stadium outfit will be on a level par with last
season's Spanish treble winners.
"The most beautiful football isn't here, but at Barcelona," he told Russian website Bobsoccer.
"But after them, perhaps Arsenal.
"We are probably missing two top players."
