Eboue back for Burnley trip

Reuters - Tuesday 15 December 2009, 14:24

LONDON - Emmanuel Eboue will return for Arsenal at Burnley on Wednesday after recovering from a hamstring strain that ruled him out of Sunday's 2-1 win at Liverpool but midfielder Denilson is injured.

"Denilson will not be available but apart from that everybody should travel. We have Eboue back in the squad," manager Arsene Wenger told the Premier League club's website.

"We had a short recovery time so we have a few bumps and bruises."

Denilson had only just returned from a 10-week lay-off with a back injury and Wenger is hoping he has not suffered a recurrence of that problem.

With 31 points, third-placed Arsenal are six points behind leaders Chelsea with a game in hand.
