Fabregas: Age no longer an excuse

Arsene Wenger's side have not lifted a trophy since the FA Cup in 2005 at the Millennium Stadium, with the team's lack of success attributed to a squad of inexperienced starlets continuing to develop under the Frenchman's tuition.

However, Fabregas - who continues to be linked with a summer move back to Barcelona as a result of the Gunners' starvation of silverware - says the time has come to knuckle down and silence the doubters.
