AC Milan have completed the signing of Porto defender Aly Cissokho following a second medical with the club.
The 21-year-old left-back - who was a reported target of Tottenham Hotspur - was set to complete a £12.7 million move to the Serie A outfit.
However, doctors discovered an issue with Cissokho's teeth that could indicate problems with the youngster's posture in future years, leading Milan to re-think their decision to purchase him.
But after further tests, the Rossoneri have confirmed that they are happy to complete the deal.
"I can confirm that I encountered some problems in my first physical," said Cissokho.
"But then we did another test, a more detailed one, and everything went well.
"I have signed my pre-contract with Milan and now I am going on holiday to Senegal."
The highly-rated Frenchman only joined Porto from Vitoria Setubal in January for £250,000, and made just 15 league appearances for the club.
However, he impressed in the Portuguese outfit's Champions League quarter-final with Manchester United, with Cissokho tasked with marshalling FIFA World Player of the Year Cristiano Ronaldo.
