D'Agostino subject of English interest

Serie A side Udinese have revealed that an English club have approached them over star midfielder Gaetano D'Agostino.
The 27-year-old has made 94 league appearances for the Bianconeri, netting 13 times, since arriving from Messina in 2006, with his form in 2008/09 helping the club reach the latter stages of the UEFA Cup and himself earn full international honours for Italy.
As a result, D'Agostino has been linked with a move away from Udinese this summer, with Juventus having already seen one bid rejected.
However, owner Giampaolo Pozzo has revealed that an English side have also expressed an interest in the former Roma man, with London trio Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur - who D'Agostino featured against in last season's UEFA Cup - believed to be in the running for his signature.
"We have one offer from England and another one from an important Italian club," said Pozzo. "Anything can happen.
"I am perplexed by the low value set by Juventus executives for the player. The difference between the asking price and the offer is huge.
"I have the impression that Juve have not thought about the real value of our midfielder.
"The will of the player is to go to Juve and if I could I would try to make him happy. But if Juve really want to get D'Agostino they should be able to make a sacrifice."
