Huntelaar on verge of Milan move

AC Milan are reportedly on the verge of completing the signing of Real Madrid striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar.
The Dutchman's time at the Bernabeu - along with several of his fellow countrymen - is seemingly over following the return of former president Florentino Perez, who has already splashed more than €200 million on stellar signings including Kaka, Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema.
The striker has been linked with a move to several Premier League clubs, including Manchester United, Arsenal and Spurs, while Bundesliga outfit Stuttgart had agreed a deal with Real, only for the player to snub the opportunity to join the German outfit.
Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp recently revealed that he was interested in recruiting the ex-Ajax goal-getter, who has totalled 143 league goals in 203 club appearances to date.
However, the Rossoneri remain in the hunt for a new front-man, with speculation linking them with Wolfsburg's Edin Dzeko, former Arsenal forward Emmanuel Adebayor, and Sevilla striker Luis Fabiano all failing to come to fruition.
The Italian giants' Brazilian head-honcho, Leonardo, has already confirmed his interest in the 25-year-old, saying:
"If we find the chance to invest, Huntelaar is a player we would consider."
And, according to Sportbox.ru, the San Siro giants are now favourites to land the forward, with Milan and Madrid thought to have agreed a deal worth in the region of €11 million.
