Redknapp linked with Muntari move again

Inter Milan midfielder Sulley Muntari is yet again being linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur in the January transfer window.
The 25-year-old sealed a £12.7 million switch from Portsmouth to
the San Siro in summer 2008, and made 27 Serie A appearances under
Jose Mourinho last season to help the Nerazzuri seal the Serie A title.
However, the Ghanaian's regular place in the side has since been put at
risk following the arrivals of Thiago Motta and Wesley Sneijder from
Genoa and Real Madrid respectively.
The midfielder has reportedly been struggling for fitness in recent
weeks having fasted during the Islamic month of Ramadan, with Mourinho
causing a media stir after suggesting that Muntari should not be
participating as it could have an adverse effect on his performances.
The former Udinese battler was booed off the San Siro surface as he was
substituted against his old club at the weekend, leading to more
speculation questioning his future in Italy.
And according to Sportmediaset.it, Spurs' supremo Harry
Redknapp will attempt to bring Muntari back to England in January,
joining Jermain Defoe, Peter Crouch and Niko Kranjcar in following
the former Pompey boss to White Hart Lane.
Muntari made 29 league outings under Redknapp for the Fratton Park
outfit during the 2007/08 season, helping the south coast side lift the
FA Cup.
