Sakho denies summer switch reports

442 Staff - Friday 19 June 2009, 14:48

Paris Saint-Germain defender Mamadou Sakho has denied reports linking him with a summer switch to the Premier League.

The 19-year-old Parisien has made 35 league appearances for the Ligue 1 outfit - scoring once - since breaking on to the first-team scene in 2007, and has gained seven caps for the French U21 side.

Reports had emerged that a string of European outfits were interested in securing his services this summer, with Arsenal and Bayern Munich the latest clubs named.

However, Sakho has revealed that Tim Hager, the 'agent' who had commented on the player's future is unknown to him, and is certainly not his representitive, adding there is absolutely no chance of him leaving PSG during the close-season

"Right now someone called Tim Hager is pretending he is my agent and he has made incredible declarations in the English press," said Sakho on his personal website.

"As a consequence, I firmly deny his words, as I don't know who he is.

"I have been working with the same people regarding the management of my career since the age of 12.

"I am going nowhere. PSG's directors have been approached, but I am going to stay with PSG."
