Rubin Kazan will host
Greece's Olympiakos Piraeus in next month's Europa League last
32 tie at Moscow's Luzhniki Stadium, the Russian club said on
Rubin have chosen Luzhniki's artificial turf after learning
that their grass pitch in Kazan might not be in good enough
condition for the February 14 first leg because of the cold.
Rubin also used Luzhniki for their Europa League last 32 tie
against Dutch side Twente Enschede last February, with
temperatures hovering around minus 15 Celsius.
The visitors won the first leg 2-0 before advancing 4-2 on
Real Madrid and Jose Mourinho will part company at the end of the current season
