UAE striker dies after collapsing on pitch

SYDNEY - Striker Salem Saad of United Arab Emirates club side Al Nasr has died after suffering a massive heart attack at training, the club's website reported on Thursday.

The club said the 31-year-old collapsed on the pitch during a regular practice session and was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital but died shortly after arrival.
