Costa crocked on Gremio duty

Rumoured Manchester United and Arsenal target Douglas Costa may have to wait a little longer to seal his dream move to the Premier League, after suffering suspected ankle ligament damage playing for Gremio.
Old Trafford boss Sir Alex Ferguson is believed to have been eyeing up the the 18-year-old Brazil U20 international - recently dubbed the new Ronaldinho - as a potential future replacement for FIFA World Player of the Year Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Premier League champions have reportedly had a request for the youngster to spend a two-week trial in England turned down by the player's club, with any deal placed into further doubt by the South American side's lofty valuation of £20 million for the teen sensation.
However, all talk of a move across the Atlantic is now set to be cooled for a month, if not longer, following Costa's injury.
The youngster was withdrawn at half-time in Gremio's 3-1 defeat to Sport Recife on Sunday, and is expected to be sidelined for around four weeks according to reports in Brazil.
