Gudjohnsen eyes return to England

The 30-year-old former Bolton and Chelsea man enjoyed unprecedented success in Spain in 2008/09 as Barca became the first Spanish side to win the la Liga, Copa del Rey and Champions League treble.

However, the Icelandic international - who has netted 23 goals in 57 outings for his country - has found first-team opportunities hard to come by at the Nou Camp, with Yaya Toure, Xavi, Andres Iniesta, Thierry Henry, Samuel Eto'o and Lionel Messi ahead in the pecking order.
