Reyes doubtful for Europa League quarters

Reuters - Monday 29 March 2010, 14:14

MADRID - Atletico Madrid's in-form winger Jose Antonio Reyes has damaged a left calf muscle, the La Liga club said on Monday.

The former Arsenal player scored a superb opener for Atletico in the city derby against Real Madrid at the Bernabeu on Sunday, but had to be substituted at halftime with the injury, and his side went on to lose the game 3-2.

Reyes is likely to miss Thursday's Europa League quarter-final first leg away to Valencia.
