Are all these late strikes at Euro 2016 actually a new occurrence?

In previous European Championships, almost half of the opening goals have been scored by the 32nd minute of the game. This year's edition seems to be dominated by strikes after the 87th minute, with 13 in the tournament already.
Here we've looked back at when the goals have gone in from the last four tournaments.
And as you'll see: late goals are common. Late opening goals are very seldom, however.
