England will expect to move three points closer to World Cup qualification when they travel to minnows Andorra on Saturday.
Gareth Southgate’s side are closing in on top spot in Group I, which would guarantee them a place at Qatar 2022.
They have picked up 16 points from a possible 18 so far and sit four points clear of second-placed Albania.
In contrast, Andorra have accumulated three points from a win over rock-bottom San Marino, and they were thrashed 4-0 by the Three Lions in last month’s meeting at Wembley.
Southgate will expect a comfortable victory over the 156th-ranked team in the world, and a strong response to their 1-1 draw with Poland last time out.
If other results go their way, England can be assured of qualification by the end of the international break with two games to spare.
They host Hungary after the trip to Andorra la Vella, before completing their qualifying schedule against Albania at home and San Marino away next month.
The Euro 2020 runners-up lost Reece James and Kalvin Phillips from the squad this week, with Ben Chilwell and James Ward-Prowse replacing them.
There could be a chance for some of England’s fringe players to make an impression here, like recently recalled Roma striker Tammy Abraham.
