Austria v North Macedonia live stream: How to watch Euro 2020 wherever you are in the world
Watch an Austria v North Macedonia live stream, as the Euro 2020 action continues apace
Austria v North Macedonia live stream, ITV, Sunday 13 June, 5pm BST
North Macedonia will make their debut at the European Championship against Austria on Sunday.
The 500/1 outsiders are the most obvious beneficiaries of UEFA’s decision to expand the European Championship to 24 teams, and to open up the Nations League as another path to qualification.
North Macedonia only finished third in their Euro 2020 qualifying group, but victories over Kosovo and Georgia in the Path 4 play-offs earned them a spot at the 16th edition of the Euros. This will be the first time the country has ever taken part in a major international tournament.
North Macedonia are clearly the competition’s minnows, but they should not be dismissed out of hand. A victory over Germany in World Cup qualifying earlier this year demonstrated their credentials, while they pushed Austria and Poland close in Euro 2020 qualifying matches. Goran Pandev is still going strong in Serie A, as is the talented 21-year-old Elif Elmas, who plies his trade for Napoli.
North Macedonia have also been handed a reasonably favourable draw, although Austria will be thinking the same. Tipped as potential dark horses at Euro 2016, David Alaba and co. disappointed by crashing out at the group stage. They will be hoping to do much better this time around, with a top-two finish in Group C well within their grasp.
Alaba and Marcel Sabitzer are the standout names in the Austria team, but it is still unclear how exactly they will play this summer. Franco Foda tends towards caution, but Austria have several players who are more used to a high-pressing game at club level.
Foda’s side will be expected to take the initiative in this game at least, and it will be interesting to see whether they can break North Macedonia down. The experienced captain Julian Baumgartlinger could be key in that regard.
Kick-off is at 5pm BST and the game is being shown on ITV/ITV Hub. See below for watching details where you are.

Use a VPN to watch an Austria v North Macedonia live stream from outside your country
If you’re out of the country for any Euro 2020 fixtures, then annoyingly your domestic on-demand services won’t work – the broadcaster knows where you are because of your IP address (boo!). You'll be blocked from watching it, which is not ideal if you still want to catch Harry Kane's in-swinging corners without resorting to illegal feeds you’ve found on Reddit.
But assistance is on hand. To get around that, all you have to do is get a Virtual Private Network (VPN), assuming it complies with your broadcaster’s T&Cs. A VPN creates a private connection between your device and t'internet, meaning the service can’t work out where you are and won't automatically block the service you've paid for. All the info going between is entirely encrypted – and that's a result.
There are plenty of good-value options out there, including:
ExpressVPN including a 30-day, money-back guarantee
FourFourTwo’s brainy office mates TechRadar love its super speedy connections, trustworthy security and the fact it works with Android, Apple, Roku, Amazon Fire TV, PS4 and loads more. You also get a money-back guarantee, 24/7 support and it's currently available for a knockdown price. Go get it!
NordVPN with quality mobile and desktop apps
A cheaper option and almost ExpressVPN's equal when it comes to quality, too. A single subscription covers six connections, so you can use it on mobile, laptop, streaming devices and more, all at the same time.
Surfshark offers a great VPN at a fraction of the price
It's clear to see why Surfshark is top of TechRadar's best cheap VPN table – it combines an excellent product with bargain pricing, starting at £2/$2.50 a month!
