Brentford v Arsenal live stream: How to watch the Premier League Opener from anywhere in the world
Watch a Brentford v Arsenal live stream as the new Premier League season gets underway
Brentford v Arsenal live stream, Sky Sports, Friday 13 August, 8pm BST
Want to find a Brentford v Arsenal live stream? You're in the right place.
The 30th Premier League season kicks off on Friday night as newly promoted Brentford host Arsenal.
It's the first time the Brentford Community Stadium, which opened last year, will be at full capacity for a competitive game - and it could hardly be a more momentous occasion, as the Bees return to the top flight after 74 years away.
As for the Gunners, it's fair to say they won't look back on 2020/21 with great fondness, having finished eighth for the second season running - and missed out on European football for the first time in 25 years.
Both sides should have plenty of motivation to hit the ground running when they step out under the lights in West London, then.
Mikel Arteta could hand debuts to summer signings Ben White and Albert Sambi Lokonga, while Bukayo Saka could start after starring for England at the Euros.
However, Arteta has been dealt a double blow by the news that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette will both miss out through illness - joining injured trio Eddie Nketiah, Thomas Partey and Gabriel on the sidelines.
Brentford boss Thomas Frank, meanwhile, will be without former Arsenal youngster Josh Dasilva - the midfielder has been struggling with a hip issue - but record signing Kristoffer Ajer should start in a back three.
And keep an eye out for Ivan Toney, who's poised to make his top flight bow after top-scoring in the Championship last season with 33 goals.
Kick-off is at 8pm BST and the game is being shown live on Sky Sports Premier League and Sky Sports Main Event in the UK.

VPN guide
Use a VPN to watch Premier league football from outside your country
If you’re out of the country for a round of Premier League fixtures, then annoyingly your domestic on-demand services won’t work – the broadcaster knows where you are because of your IP address (boo!). You'll be blocked from watching it, which is not ideal if you’ve paid up for a subscription and still want to catch Steve Bruce’s extra-red face without resorting to illegal feeds you’ve found on Reddit.
But assistance is on hand. To get around that, all you have to do is get a Virtual Private Network (VPN), assuming it complies with your broadcaster’s T&Cs. A VPN creates a private connection between your device and t'internet, meaning the service can’t work out where you are and won't automatically block the service you've paid for. All the info going between is entirely encrypted – and that's a result.
There are plenty of good-value options out there, including:
ExpressVPN including a 30-day, money-back guarantee
FourFourTwo’s brainy office mates TechRadar love its super speedy connections, trustworthy security and the fact it works with Android, Apple, Roku, Amazon Fire TV, PS4 and loads more. You also get a money-back guarantee, 24/7 support and it's currently available for a knockdown price. Go get it!
NordVPN with quality mobile and desktop apps
A cheaper option and almost ExpressVPN's equal when it comes to quality, too. A single subscription covers six connections, so you can use it on mobile, laptop, streaming devices and more, all at the same time.
Surfshark offers a great VPN at a fraction of the price
It's clear to see why Surfshark is top of TechRadar's best cheap VPN table – it combines an excellent product with bargain pricing, starting at £2/$2.50 a month!
