Captaincy isn't as important as it used to be in football. Now, it's more of a token gesture given to the most influential player in a team.
Especially in international football. There are plenty of players who wore the armband for their countries without being the captain of their club. Take David Beckham, who was England skipper while playing under Roy Keane's captaincy for Manchester United.
Looking across the captains at World Cup 2022, it's mostly a list of the biggest player for each side. That should make this quiz a little easier at least.
