Qatar is only about the size of Yorkshire. It's a far cry to the tournament four years ago.
This World Cup has been a strange one in that players have been able to stay at the same hotel throughout. No longer have they been playing with one eye on a flight across time zones to another side of the country.
This has felt far more like an Olympic Games, as the greatest show on Earth comes to a city, with fans from all over the globe descending on a tiny square of land rather than a whole country. But it's not always like this.
