Quiz! Can you name the line-ups from the classic Barcelona vs Inter Champions League semi-final (second leg) in 2010?

Barcelona Inter Milan Ibrahimovic Guardiola Mourinho

The 2010 Champions League semi-final second leg between Barcelona and Inter Milan is one of the classic games of football’s biggest club tournament.

It featured the two defining managers of their generation, both operating at the apex of their powers. Even the game itself was a purist clash of their respective ideologies – Guardiola’s Barca enjoyed 76% possession and were camped in Inter’s half, as Mourinho’s side, down to 10 men for most of the game, put in one of the finest defensive displays in living memory.

The margins were fine, and Mourinho failed to replicate his masterclass too many times after that night, but it felt like us mere mortals were witnessing a tactical genius at work.

Inter came to the Camp Nou 3-1 up on aggregate following their surprise win at San Siro. Barca had seemed invincible going in, but were well beaten after travelling over 1,000km by bus, thanks to the Icelandic volcano Eyjafjallajokull erupting.

Somehow, the return fixture at the Camp Nou seemed the bigger victory for the Special One and the Nerazzurri. When Inter held out for a 1-0 loss (and 3-2 aggregate win), Mourinho raced onto the pitch, arm aloft and pointing to the heavens as an enraged Victor Valdes accosted him.

These images remain fresh in the memory, but how well do you remember the teams that actually played in that game in Barcelona? We’re only looking for players from the second leg (so a hint: some big names might be missing after receiving a yellow in the first match), and we want substitutes who appeared as well.
