Leicester City vs Manchester City live stream and match preview

Looking for a Leicester City vs Manchester City live stream? We've got you covered.

Leicester City have enjoyed a resurgent period in October, after what looked like a drab couple of months for Brendan Rodgers at the King Power Stadium. In the five games they have played, they have won three, drawn once and lost once - helping them pick up some much-needed points.

Of course, they are still close to the relegation zone, but a result against Manchester City would truly announce their return to form. James Maddison is still playing to a high standard, while Jamie Vardy and Harvey Barnes also look back to scoring ways.

With this fixture just one of three games left in the league before the extended World Cup break, Leicester will be desperate to move further away from the precarious drop zone.

However, that won't be an easy task against an imperious Man City side which has the irrepressible Erling Haaland in its ranks. In just 11 league games this season he has already scored 17 goals, and looks well on his way to wrapping up the golden boot - Leicester's defenders will need to be on top of their game to keep him quiet.

Despite losing to Liverpool a couple of weeks ago, Man City are still going strongly in the league. They are just two points off of table toppers Arsenal, and don't look to have even hit full stride yet. Confirmed as winners of their Champions League group after drawing 0-0 at Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday, Pep Guardiola also has the luxury of not having to rest players for what could have been a decisive clash against Sevilla next Tuesday.

Team news

Leicester make two alterations from last weekend's starting lineup: Caglar Soyuncu comes in as Rodgers reverts to a back three (Boubakary Soumare drops out of the squad) and Jamie Vardy takes over from Patson Daka up front.

The big news from the Manchester City camp is that Haaland doesn't make the squad: the Norwegian goal machine misses out after picking up a knock in midweek; Julian Alvarez – who started alongside Haaland last time out – leads the line. Guardiola makes six changes in all from the side which started against Dortmund: Ederson returns in goal after being rested; Manuel Akanji and Aymeric Laporte replace Ruben Dias and Nathan Ake at centre-back; Kevin De Bruyne, Jack Grealish and Bernardo Silva are also back in the starting 11.

VPN guide

Use a VPN to watch Premier League football from outside your country

If you’re out of the country for a round of Premier League fixtures, then annoyingly your domestic on-demand services won’t work – the broadcaster knows where you are because of your IP address (boo!). You'll be blocked from watching it, which is not ideal if you’ve paid up for a subscription and still want to catch the action without resorting to illegal feeds you’ve found on Reddit.

But assistance is on hand. To get around that, all you have to do is get a Virtual Private Network (VPN), assuming it complies with your broadcaster’s T&Cs. A VPN creates a private connection between your device and t'internet, meaning the service can’t work out where you are and won't automatically block the service you've paid for. All the info going between is entirely encrypted – and that's a result.

There are plenty of good-value options out there, and FourFourTwo currently recommends:

ExpressVPN

ExpressVPN including a 30-day, money-back guarantee

FourFourTwo’s brainy office mates TechRadar love its super speedy connections, trustworthy security and the fact it works with Android, Apple, Roku, Amazon Fire TV, PS5 and loads more. You also get a money-back guarantee, 24/7 support and it's currently available for a knockdown price. Go get it!
