Newcastle United vs Aston Villa live stream and match preview

Looking for a Newcastle United vs Aston Villa live stream? We've got you covered.

Newcastle are currently flying in the Premier League, having lost just one game all season. Eddie Howe has transformed the club since taking over a year ago, and their 2-0 victory away at Tottenham last week has seen them move into the Champions League places in the table.

Indeed, that result truly cemented Newcastle's status as the 'best of the rest' - of the anointed big six, at least - with Callum Wilson and Miguel Almiron both continuing their fine form with goals at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium. Howe isn't getting too carried away, though, admitting there is plenty of time left in the season.

They also face a new-look Aston Villa, with caretaker manager Aaron Danks still in charge of the Midlands outfit until Unai Emery officially takes over the side on November 1. Under Gerrard Villa looked devoid of ideas, but Danks proved the squad had quality when managing the side against Brentford last weekend.

Villa won 4-0 on that occasion, blitzing Brentford away in the opening quarter of an hour with three quick goals. They will certainly be looking to build on that performance and climb further away from the relegation zone in the coming weeks, starting with their trip to Newcastle.

Newcastle are without a number of first-team players, with Allan Saint-Maximin, club-record signing Alexander Isak, Matt Ritchie, Emil Krafth, Elliot Anderson and Karl Darlow all missing through injury.

Manager Eddie Howe has named an unchanged side from the one which beat Tottenham 2-1 in north London last weekend.

Meanwhile, Villa are without important players in Diego Carlos, Lucas Digne and Boubacar Kamara, three players who would likely all start if fully fit.

Caretaker manager Aaron Danks has named an unchanged side following last weekend's win at Brentford in what is his final game in charge before handing over to new boss Unai Emery.

VPN guide

Use a VPN to watch Premier League football from outside your country

If you’re out of the country for a round of Premier League fixtures, then annoyingly your domestic on-demand services won’t work – the broadcaster knows where you are because of your IP address (boo!). You'll be blocked from watching it, which is not ideal if you’ve paid up for a subscription and still want to catch the action without resorting to illegal feeds you’ve found on Reddit.

But assistance is on hand. To get around that, all you have to do is get a Virtual Private Network (VPN), assuming it complies with your broadcaster’s T&Cs. A VPN creates a private connection between your device and t'internet, meaning the service can’t work out where you are and won't automatically block the service you've paid for. All the info going between is entirely encrypted – and that's a result.

There are plenty of good-value options out there, and FourFourTwo currently recommends:

ExpressVPN

ExpressVPN including a 30-day, money-back guarantee

FourFourTwo’s brainy office mates TechRadar love its super speedy connections, trustworthy security and the fact it works with Android, Apple, Roku, Amazon Fire TV, PS5 and loads more. You also get a money-back guarantee, 24/7 support and it's currently available for a knockdown price. Go get it!
