Poland and Slovakia will kick-start their Euro 2020 campaigns when they go head-to-head on Monday.

Poland were tipped as potential dark horses to win the 2018 World Cup, but Robert Lewandowski and co. crashed out in the group stage. They will be looking to do much better this time around, and the fact that as many as three teams could advance from Group E plays into their hands.

Poland qualified for Euro 2020 in style, winning eight and drawing one of their 10 matches to finish top of their group. There has been a change in the dugout since then, however, with Paulo Sousa having taken the reins earlier this year. The Portuguese is a flexible manager who could opt for a 3-5-2 or a 4-4-2 formation on Monday, and we could well see his side employ both systems as the tournament goes on.

Needless to say, Lewandowski is the key player in this Poland team. The man hotly tipped to win last year's Ballon d'Or - before Covid did its thing and forced it to be cancelled - will lead the line this evening, flanked by key creator Piotr Zielinski and the lively Kamil Jozwiak of Derby Country, one of three English-based players in the starting 11 along with Southampton's Jan Bednarek and Leeds' Mateusz Klich.

Slovakia have reached the last 16 in their two previous tournament appearances. That will be the target again here, with Marek Hamsik as integral to their chances of doing so as ever. The 33-year-old attacking midfielder is heavily relied upon for invention in a team that takes a methodical approach, with the lack of a proven goalscorer a major issue.

Still, Slovakia can be tough to break down and they will have no qualms with packing men behind the ball against Poland. If Sousa’s side are unable to find their rhythm, Slovakia could spring a surprise in Saint Petersburg.

Kick-off is at 5pm BST and the game is being shown on ITV/ITV Hub. See below for watching details where you are.

Use a VPN to watch a Poland v Slovakia live stream from outside your country

If you’re out of the country for any Euro 2020 fixtures, then annoyingly your domestic on-demand services won’t work – the broadcaster knows where you are because of your IP address (boo!). You'll be blocked from watching it, which is not ideal if you still want to catch Harry Kane's in-swinging corners without resorting to illegal feeds you’ve found on Reddit.

But assistance is on hand. To get around that, all you have to do is get a Virtual Private Network (VPN), assuming it complies with your broadcaster’s T&Cs. A VPN creates a private connection between your device and t'internet, meaning the service can’t work out where you are and won't automatically block the service you've paid for. All the info going between is entirely encrypted – and that's a result.

There are plenty of good-value options out there, including:
