Quiz! Can you name the 31 Champions League top scorers after the 2017/18 group stage?
Liverpool have blitzed goals, while a new record has been set by a chap who scored in all six matches – but how many of the players with 3+ goals can you name?
The Champions League group stage ended in a flurry of goals, most of them conceded by Spartak Moscow. Seven goals at Anfield? Oh, you better believe that’s a paddlin’.
No surprise then that four Red men feature in the list of scorers who've netted three or more after the group stage, a player total that only PSG can match. A trio of goals is our cut-off point because it means that – at worst – a player has a one-in-two goals-per-game ratio.
One player has trebled that, however, and scored nine in six matches. Of course he has. If you can’t get the No.1 on our list, we’re all in trouble – but we’re intrigued to see how you get on with the other 30.
Six minutes are on the clock, each player’s club and nationality are below. Remember to sing the Champions League anthem throughout the quiz and then to let us know your score @FourFourTwo. Be a champ and challenge some pals to the quiz too – Ta!
