There are now three dozen players who have created at least five goals so far this season. Judging by the list, however, having a player who knows how to set up a goalscoring opportunity is not necessarily a key to success: neither of the two leading assisters this season are from current top-four teams.
The lack of key creators can still be a problem, though, of course: there's a reason that Cardiff, Fulham and Huddersfield don’t have anyone with five assists so far.
