Quiz! Can you name these foreign ‘90s Premier League players?

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is enjoying his big day in the sun after being hired as Manchester United manager – a far cry from the day he rocked up at Old Trafford and was mistaken for being on a tour.

The Norwegian would have remained a club hero without this caretaker-turned-permanent gig, mind, having spent 11 years there as a player from 1996-2007 after joining from Molde for a paltry £1.5m.

Within three years he’d jabbed home a Champions League final winner, one of 126 goals in his 366 games for United, and left with the love of Reds worldwide.

But enough of Ole: today’s quiz honours many of the other foreign imports who transformed Premier League football in the 1990s, revamping the English game as we knew it.

Below are 15 faces you might recognise from that decade, starring the league’s first ever Spaniard and more. There’s no time limit and it’s multiple choice, so do let us know (with proof!) @FourFourTwo on Twitter how you got on afterwards.

After that, share the love with some friends why don’t you…
