The interlull is enough to make most football fans feel as though they’re straight-jacketed in a white padded room – the thought of no club football if you’re of Premier League or Championship persuasion, potential injuries to your best players, and the prospect of watching the Republic of Ireland for lack of anything better to do.
Shudder.
So to ease the woe, here’s today’s quiz – a bit of a corker for you if we don’t say ourselves, on every Premier League club’s most-capped players.
We’re looking for the top three in each squad, featuring only players who are currently at the club – so no Jermain Defoe of Bournemouth, who’s currently making appearances of Rangers’ bench.
