Ranked! Every football kit at the 2022 World Cup
We've gone through every 2022 World Cup football kit and ranked them from the bad to the beautiful
25. Spain away
Spain's away shirt is both loud and subtle at the same time, using multiple shades of pastel blue alongside the national flag colours of red and yellow.
One member of the FFT team loved it so much, they gave it a 10/10 – it just about scrapes into our top 25. From here on in, every shirt scored an average of 7/10…
24. Senegal home
Ain't nothing wrong with a chevron. The African champions arrive in Qatar donned in perhaps their finest home kit ever, which has all three national flag colours on the top without being too loud.
23. Croatia away
After the purple of 2018 and the black and grey of 2021, Croatia are back with navy blue for their away colours this time around. The sky blue graphic looks stunning – this lot never let us down, do they?
22. Netherlands home
We weren't sure when we first heard that the Dutch home shirt was going to be a lighter shade than usual. Maybe it's the handsomeness of Virgil van Dijk but this one is absolutely superb.
The lion-like print looks like velvet but we're not mad about it. It's good to have the Oranje back at the World Cup.
21. Argentina home
If Lionel Messi is to finally win the World Cup, the shirt that he does it in could become a stone-cold classic. The Argentina home shirt is a no-frills, no-fuss stunner that looks to reset the look to Year Zero. It's undislikeable, right?

20. France home
This is everything you want from a France shirt, isn't it? A sleek navy blue with gold detailing and tiny tricolore references on the sleeves, the world champions are going to be looking good in Qatar.
It's the details that make this one. The botanical print on the cuffs is a particularly inspired touch.
19. France away
Adorned with a print including cows, the Arc De Triomphe and French citizens carrying flags, this one is as Gallic as Eric Cantona shrugging nonchalantly. Les Bleus have worn all kinds of away attire but this might well become a fan favourite back home for its attention to all those French icons woven into the thread. C'est tres bien.
18. Ecuador away
Ecuador's away get-up is one that we didn't expect to be on our wishlist. A navy blue top with an all-over geometric graphic and white trim, this has to be one of the classiest shirts of the competition? It's stunning execution.
17. Brazil away
Taking influence from the jaguar, the only big cat in South America, Nike have introduced animal print to Brazil to shake up the shirts.
The away is louder than the home, combining green with the blue for something that feels modern, fresh and as fancy as this Brazilian generation. We've seen that same blue shirt for years now – and this is the first time in a generation that they've truly done something different. It looks superb.
16. Germany away
Adidas are a German company – so that's why Die Mannschaft always have nice kits, in case you're wondering.
2022 is no different with the red and black of 2014's winning vintage returning, with gold flourishes and a base pattern that resembles the old DFB logo. It's a stunning shirt, all in all.
15. South Korea away
The tiger-striped away shirt changed everything for South Korea: now we look forward to seeing what Nike come up with for them every year.
The 2022 away shirt is one of the most spectacular shirts that we've ever seen at a World Cup, adding multicoloured paint strokes over a black base for something that feels as uber-modern as Seoul itself.
14. Spain home
Spain have had some loud home shirts over the years, the last of which quartered the top with painted textures. This one, however, sees a return to basics.
The navy and yellow perfectly complement the scarlet base, while the new badge looks superb. Perfect for the start of a new golden generation, right?
13. Croatia home
It must be impossible for Croatia to ever release a truly bad home shirt but this one is especially lovely. The red squares are spaced out a little more on the new home top, with more white than ever, while a royal blue is used for the logos, lettering and numbers. It's one of their nicest-ever.
12. Wales home
Probably worth a 60-odd-year wait. Wales' home top ditches the yellow of Euro 2020 in favour of green and white, adding a subtle base pattern to the top, too.
Adidas have towed the line wonderfully. This one recalls some of the all-time great Welsh jerseys of the 1980s and 90s while looking thoroughly modern as well. An absolute triumph.
11. Brazil home
The base print is lush, the lighter shade of yellow is beautiful and the hidden Brazil flag within the button hole of the shirt.
It's a marvel. Nike have arguably never released a naff Brazil shirt and aren't about to, dragging the values of the Selecao in the 2020s with a top bright enough to dance a samba to. It's easy to release a shirt that harks back to the past but to try and reinvent like this – and succeed – is more impressive.
