Ranked! Every Premier League kit this season, from worst to best
We rank every Premier League kit this season, from the honking to the stonking, from the trousers to the wowsers
40. Burnley third
Is it us, or is Burnley's third shirt basically a better version of West Ham's third shirt? Explain, please, Umbro.
39. Aston Villa third
Aston Villa are the first team to have all three shirts completed in our list – apologies, boys – and this one is by far the nicest.
The multi-blue-grey pattern is very 90s, which genuinely sets it apart from the other two kits that the Villans have been given this season, and the sponsor looks a little more tolerable here. It was rated as high as an 8 and as low as a 3 by our team – clearly, it's not going to be popular with everyone.
38. Sheffield United home
Close your eyes. Picture a Sheffield United home kit. See it? Now open your eyes and tell us you weren't thinking of the picture above.
Sometimes, it's better to be a little on the safe side. At least this one actually accentuates the stripes, unlike the other two Blades efforts for this term.
37. Brentford home
Where the last Brentford shirt was clean and classic, Umbro have modernised with the new one. The stripes are chunkier and fade into black at the bottom, while black panels are added under the arms. Fans better like this one: the Bees are sticking with it for two seasons again, like the last one…
36. Brighton & Hove Albion third
Brighton's bright orange change strip from the last campaign is relegated to a third-choice effort of this. Our thoughts are the same: nice shade but nothing to get overly excited by.

35. West Ham United home
West Ham's home shirt for this season is delicately adorned with little bubbles all over. It's not an instant hit but it's an improvement on the paint-splashed sleeves of last term, at least, with the pale blue sleeves balancing this one out nicely.
34. Burnley home
So while Umbro have given Burnley an upgrade of West Ham's third shirt, it looks like they've removed the bubbles from the Irons' home top to give to Turf Moor, too – what's going on?
Seriously though, the Clarets' home shirt for this season is vintage-looking with W88 one of the more aesthetic betting logos out there. It's not a patch on the promotion jersey but then what it is, eh?
33. Luton Town away
Perhaps we're overrating this one because it's a simple reverse of the home shirt. But then again, it's hard not to be seduced by such a simple switcheroo: and Luton's away top is smart and sharp.
32. Liverpool away
A Minecraft version of the classic 90s away top, Liverpool's change effort this season feels sharply modern, brash and exciting… at least to three of our judges, who gave it an 8 or 9 out of 10.
The others gave it straight 3s. It's still got some work to convince everyone.
31. Crystal Palace home
AFC Richmond's new shirt – pardon, Crystal Palace's new shirt is a fresh, half-and-half design that's impossible to hate. The white adds a clean flourish (much better idea to use that than a yellow, Macron), while the base pattern is elegant. After last year's scribbly effort – which we liked, by the way – the Eagles have matured nicely with this one.
