Big home renovation projects, as well as day-to-day DIY tasks can generate a surprising amount of dust.

Perhaps you're installing new light fittings, hanging shelves or fixing a new flat-screen television to the wall. Maybe you're in the middle of a kitchen extension or taking down lathe and plaster ceilings? All these tasks are too tough for a regular indoor vac.

That’s where a Kärcher Wet and Dry vacuum cleaner like the WD 4 will be your indispensable helper.

A powerful machine that comes kitted out with a range of accessories, it sucks up any heavy-duty DIY mess. It can handle both wet and dry mess too, so it's perfect to have by your side for spillages when working on plumbing jobs, or even if you happen to knock over a cup of tea.

Strong suction power to pull dust from any crevice

The Kärcher WD 4 is all about suction power. With its 1,000 watt motor, it can produce 220 air watts. This means extra strong suction power to pull in dust from every crevice in your home.

DIY dust isn't all it can vacuum up either, the WD 4 can pick up screws, bolts, bits of broken wood or chips of brick or plaster to leave your work space totally clear.

There's 20 litres of capacity in its plastic container, plus five metres of cable and 2.2 metres of hose.

Dust catcher to vacuum debris straight from source

Red brick dust can stain surfaces beneath where you are drilling. It's difficult to pick up with a cloth and can ruin new silicone, grout or paint.

There's a special dust catcher accessory, that you can buy separately, to suck dust straight out of a hole as you are drilling it. This can attach to most surfaces – ceiling, wall and floor. You don't need a second person to help either, as the dust catcher's two chamber technology and foam rubber seal means it can securely hold itself to the area you are drilling, by itself.

The dust catcher is suitable for all drills up to 15mm and is suitable for all models.

All Kärcher WD vacuums plug straight into your power tools too to suck any dust straight from source. This means no mess when you cut wood, as well as keeping you and your family safe from dust exposure.

If you go for the Kärcher WD 6, it has a built-in power outlet, enabling you to sync your power tools, allowing for automatic suction of any dust whilst cutting or sanding.

Patented filter removal technology to avoid contact with dust

The Kärcher WD 4 has patented filter removal technology, allowing for quick and easy removal of the flat pleat filter, without any contact with dirt. Avoiding any transfer to you or your house. The fleece filter bag inside the vacuum provides greater filtration of dust and debris, optimum suction power and it is ideally suited for the demanding tasks of a home renovation.
